Michelangelo D'Yarumal (also known as Miguel Ángel Pérez) is a Colombian-American artist and poet, blending original artwork with reflective poetry to inspire and connect with audiences.

As a contemporary visual artist, Michelangelo has taken on his creative role as a spiritual mission and awareness of climate reality. He identifies himself as an artistic being, "painter, storyteller and visionary poet, open to everything and everyone, subject to nothing and no one; but reinspiring everyone with whom I can share at all times without necessarily expecting something in return."

In his creative facet he is dedicated to promoting and disseminating Anthropoartheism as a contemporary artistic style and is always looking for opportunities to share his anthropo-artist artistic work and explain his translucent mixed media through books, conferences, workshops, and seminars.

Currently is based in the city of Ambler, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

Michelangelo D’Yarumal (also known as Miguel Ángel Pérez)

Miguel Ángel Pérez, a Colombian - American, identified by the stage name Michelangelo D'Yarumal, is an investigative journalist, content producer, voice talent, and a contemporary inspirational bilingual (English - Spanish) visual artist and poet.

As a contemporary visual artist, Michelangelo has taken on his creative role as a spiritual mission and awareness of climate reality. He identifies himself as an artistic being, "painter, storyteller and visionary poet, open to everything and everyone, subject to nothing and no one; but reinspiring everyone with whom I can share at all times without necessarily expecting something in return."

In 2006, he had the opportunity to live in Florence, Italy and tour it without haste through its most notable historical sites. It was there, when, after several afternoons of visiting an abbey, he met and shared with an elderly monk whom he saw daily and after talking to him and listening to his wise advice, he made the decision to adopt "Michelangelo D'Yarumal" as his artistic name after understanding many of the things about how the name assigned to us marks us in life and the coordinates of the place where we are born.

In Florence, she was certified in Design and Painting at the art institute "Accademia d'Arte AD'A", in Florence, had as a teacher the Italian painter and illustrator Sonia de Franceschi, and studied Art History and Italian Language at the Michelangelo Institute.

The artist has created an inspirational artistic proposal that he has called "Anthropoartheism", which consists of inviting the human being to discover through art the spiritual being that is inside him and his responsibility, with his personal, social, and environmental environment, whatever its manifestation (pictorial, poetic, histrionic, etc.) even without believing that he has abilities or without being gifted and respecting the original spiritual or religious belief of each one.

Anthropoartheism integrates visual art and poetry as means of common action between the human and the Divine, between the imperfect and the perfect, between nature and our relationship with it. It is a call to "re-inspire" us and let out the natural talent with which each one has been sent here to fulfill a mission and, in this way, recognize what we can contribute to others for their integral growth. For this reason, Michelangelo D'Yarumal maintains that the basis and foundation of Anthropoartheism is Reinspiration, which is the search to return to nature and to the things that inspire us, no matter how simple and practical they may be, and to shape the result of their influence to positively impact our environment and the lives of others.
